Somtimes I wonder….
Alright. This is more a rant post. Because somthing REALLY annoyed me a moment ago. I was on the beta. Getting a few last minute tests off as I did a Heroic Deadmines run. Now I had copied a 85 Premade holy Pally with an Amazing shield with an amazing game reference to one of my favorite series. But I only got up to the 2nd boss in said group. Want to know why? I know you all do so I am going to say it in 3….2….1….. Nao. Ok then. So this Worgen warrior. Let’s call him Sir. Fluffsalot. Calls me out for a few people dieing in the group from a debuff called “Motivate.” It ticks for ALOT and it’s a channeled debuff. So the group should be interupting it. It ticks for 20k a second. Anyhow. After a rough pull of the tank pulling 4 of the mobs that do that (You can pull them 1 at a time) He calls me out by saying “hey dude use ur holy shock n holy power heal when you heal” (Those exact words) So I reply “Dude. I have been. You just pulled four mobs that are ticking for 20k a second. Thats 80k damage every second. I can’t keep up with that.” And he replys “use flash heal and ur strong heal too.” And I reply “I was doing that. Can you please not try to call me out for somthing I couldn’t prevent.” And the last comment of his was “I can call u out when people die.” So know what I do? The moment he pulls four more. I ditch. I do not like when people tell me how to play my class when they clearly were the ones to blame.
But yeah. That was my rant of the day. I know it probably made you all go “ZOMG ARG COOL STORY BRO” But yeah. It just really annoyed me… So for the topic title. I will continue with it. “Somtimes I wonder how…. People who act like total…. Ugh’s get into beta? I mean. Replace him with some of my guildies. It would be a far bigger improve. Alright Blizz? That is if your reading this =P

Usually when that kind of thing happens, it’s easier to initiate a vote-kick rather than just drop. 9 times out of 10 the rest of the group will also think the other guy is a total jerk, especially if you’ve done a good job of presenting your case. It’s just that no one wants to take the initiative. They’ll go along with whatever because they don’t want to get wrapped up in anything that could possibly resemble conflict.
If the vote-kick fails, then leave group and burn your bridges while you’re at it.
Also, even if I were to get a beta invite at this time (and I’m pretty sure they’ve stopped sending them by now) I wouldn’t take it. Too close to the release to be worth it.

I guess your right. I just didn’t really have the energy to try and heal him. It might have taught him a lesson by me leaving mid-pull. You never tell a healer how to play their class. Or else people will die =P But yeah. I agree with you. To be honest. I leveled up to 84 on Arg. Then just stopped. Partially because it was when Uldum and TH didn’t have quest rewards. But it was also because from the first few quests in TH I KNEW it was going to be too good to waste on beta.
